Southern Bio Recovery, Inc. owner, Brandon Ridley, identified the need for a specialized bio-decontamination service company after working with families of suicide victims during his time as an insurance claims supervisor. Brandon understood that people needed specific, reliable, and comprehensive remediation services when dealing with the cleanup of a crime scene, trauma scene, hoarding situation, or other extreme circumstance.
Brandon is certified as a bio recovery technician by the National Institute of Decontamination Specialists (NIDS) and the American Bio-Recovery Association (ABRA). He also holds certificates in advanced environmental decontamination and clandestine drug lab residue cleanup. Finally, Brandon is EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) lead-safe certified to identify lead paint and clean it without causing additional contamination.
In addition to his comprehensive knowledge of these specialized cleaning processes, Brandon’s experience in the insurance industry allows him to advise clients regarding the financial, legal, and regulatory aspects of dealing with these unique situations.
Through years of working in the bio-recovery field, Brandon is also able to recommend counselors, real estate attorneys, probate attorneys, and funeral homes to clients dealing with difficult circumstances. Brandon and his team’s ability to guide clients through the entire process from cleanup and insurance claims, to post-decontamination rebuilding sets Southern Bio Recovery apart from its competitors.
Brandon earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia. He resides just outside of Atlanta in Canton, Georgia.
